Find Your Perfect Fit
Every wrist, finger, and neckline is unique. This guide walks you through how we measure — so the piece you choose feels intentional, not borrowed.
Measuring Your Wrist
You will need a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper and a ruler. Wrap it around your wrist just above the wrist bone — where you would normally wear a bracelet — keeping it snug but not tight. Note the measurement in centimeters.
Tip — measure both wrists; most people's dominant wrist is slightly larger.
Wrist Size Reference
Add 1.5 cm to your raw measurement for a comfort fit, or up to 2.5 cm for a relaxed drape. The chart below maps to the size labels you will see on our product pages:
| Size | Wrist (cm) | Fit |
|---|---|---|
| XS | 13.5 – 14.5 cm | Petite, close fit |
| S | 14.5 – 15.5 cm | Standard for slim wrists |
| M | 15.5 – 16.5 cm | Most popular fit |
| L | 16.5 – 17.5 cm | Comfortable for average wrists |
| XL | 17.5 – 18.5 cm | Roomy fit |
| XXL | 18.5 cm and above | Generous drape |
Bead Diameter Guide
Bead size changes both the look and the weight of a piece. Choose by mood:
- 6 mmDelicate. Best for stacking layers and slim wrists. Lowest weight on the wrist.
- 8 mmThe most popular all-around choice. Strikes a balance between presence and comfort.
- 10 mmSubstantial. A clear visual statement; works well as a single piece.
- 12 mmBold. Significant wrist weight; most often chosen for ritual or meditation use.
Bead Count by Wrist
Our DIY designer calculates this for you automatically, but here is the underlying formula: wrist circumference (mm) × 0.96 ÷ bead diameter (mm). For a 16 cm wrist with 8 mm beads, that yields ~19 beads.
Ring Sizing
Ring size differs by region. The chart below shows the cross-reference we use; if you already know your size in one system, the others are equivalent:
| US | UK | EU | JP | Inner Ø (mm) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4 | H | 46.5 | 7 | 14.8 |
| 5 | J½ | 49 | 9 | 15.6 |
| 6 | L½ | 51.5 | 11 | 16.5 |
| 7 | N½ | 54 | 13 | 17.3 |
| 8 | P½ | 57 | 16 | 18.1 |
| 9 | R½ | 59 | 18 | 19.0 |
| 10 | T½ | 62 | 20 | 19.8 |
Necklace Length Guide
Necklace length affects how the piece sits on the body. Common reference points:
| Length | Where it sits |
|---|---|
| 40 cm | Choker — sits high on the neck |
| 45 cm | Princess — at the collarbone |
| 50 cm | Matinee — just below the collarbone |
| 55 cm | Mid-chest — versatile for layering |
| 70+ cm | Opera — drapes down the chest |
When in Doubt
If you are between sizes, we generally recommend sizing up — a piece that drapes is more comfortable than one that pinches. Our resizing service is complimentary for the first adjustment within 30 days of delivery for stretch beaded pieces; metal cuffs and rings may be sent in for resizing where the design allows. This is a resizing service, not a change-of-mind return.
