Data Deletion Instructions

You may request deletion of your The Wu Lab account data and personal information associated with email, Google, Facebook, or other supported login methods. This page explains how to submit a request and what information may need to be retained for legal, security, payment, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution reasons.
1. How to request deletion
Email privacy@thewulab.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. Please send the request from the email address connected to your The Wu Lab account, or include enough information for us to verify account ownership.
2. Information to include
Please include your account email, name, and whether you used email login, Google login, Facebook login, or another supported provider. If your request relates to a specific order, include the order number so we can separate account deletion from required order records.
3. What we delete
After verification, we will delete or anonymize account profile data, optional analysis inputs, saved preferences, marketing consent records where legally removable, and social login identifiers that are no longer required to provide the service.
4. Information we may retain
Some records may need to be retained where required by law or legitimate business needs, including payment metadata, order records, tax and accounting records, fraud-prevention logs, security logs, chargeback evidence, and customer support history related to active disputes.
5. Timing and confirmation
We aim to acknowledge deletion requests within a reasonable period and complete verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. When the request is complete, we will confirm by email unless legal or security reasons prevent us from doing so.
